MIXED MEDIA ART CAMP

ages 7-12

March 11 - March 14

9:00AM-4:00 PM; students must bring a lunch that does not need to be heated. Parents or caregivers are invited to take their children out for lunch and return for the afternoon portion of camp.

Mixed Media art camp led by local artist! This camp is perfect for artists of all levels who want to explore the possibilities of mixed media and learn from a professional in the field.

Throughout the camp, you'll have the opportunity to experiment with a range of materials. You'll learn about different techniques and approaches to creating mixed media art.

Be prepared to get messy! Mixed media art is all about experimentation, and sometimes that means making a mess. We'll provide all the materials and tools you need to create your own unique works of art.

Overall, this camp is all about creative play and art exploration. You'll have the chance to express yourself through your art and connect with like-minded artists in a fun and supportive environment. Come join us for an unforgettable experience!

CLASS FORMAT

This event is conducted in Galveston Arts Center’s studio classroom located on the second floor of GAC.

POLICIES

  • ENROLLMENT DEADLINE:  MARCH 6 2024

    Late enrollment may be accepted, however some materials may not be ready at first class.

  • Missed classes will not be refunded.

  • Classes are not recorded for virtual students. Live participation is necessary.

  • In the rare event of cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances, a reasonable effort will be made to schedule a make-up class session on an alternate date, or the class fee (less any classes already held) will be credited to the customer’s account.

  • Group communications/announcements are conducted by email to the address entered at registration. Individual communications may be handled by phone/text.

DISCOUNTS
GAC Members enjoy 20% off of tuition. You must sign in with the email associated with your membership account to receive the discount. Full-time students, teachers/professors, and parents who homeschool can join at the Student/Educator level for just $30/year.

For liability reasons, please do not register a student who is a minor unless you are their parent or legal guardian.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR TEENS
Teachers, counsellors, etc. may nominate a student with whom they are professionally acquainted for a scholarship if they can attest to the the student’s interest in the subject and financial need. The student’s parent/legal guardian will be notified and given further instructions. You may not nominate your own child, dependent, or other close relation.
