For ages 16+
In this introductory course, Roxann Grover will demystify the technical aspects of digital photography, including camera mechanics, as well as the subjective intent of the photographer as an expressive artist. Students will learn how to apply basic design principles to photography and learn how to manipulate their camera’s exposure (f-stop, shutter speed, ISO), depth-of-field, focus, and focal length to take their image-making to the next level. Mobile photography will also be discussed, including choosing apps for shooting, editing, storing and sharing digital photos..
