ARTFUL STITCHES

Recommended age 16+

Wednesdays from 5:00-6:30 PM
5 weeks | May 1 - May 29

Join us for a series of creative sewing in our class designed for those looking to transform found fabrics into unique, one-of-a-kind items. Throughout this course, students will learn essential sewing skills, from basic stitches to more advanced techniques, empowering them to give new life to repurposed materials. Artist, Lis Joy, will guide each participant through the process of designing and creating personalized projects. This class not only focuses on developing sewing proficiency but also encourages a sustainable approach to fashion and design by utilizing existing fabrics. Join us for a hands-on experience that marries creativity with eco-consciousness, leaving you with not just new skills, but also bespoke creations that tell a story.

Many materials will be provided for this class. Because of the unique style of each participant, some projects will require students to bring their own fabrics.
