CREATIVE WAVES
Recommended ages 7-12

"Creative Waves" summer art camp offers an immersive exploration of the fluidity and beauty of water through artistic expression. Students will experience a variety of mediums, techniques, and themes inspired by the dynamic nature of water. Participants will experiment with watercolor painting, fluid acrylic pouring, bubble painting and mixed media techniques to capture the essence of waves, rivers, and oceans. This camp promises to ignite creativity and provide a refreshing dive into the world of art inspired by the mesmerizing movements of water.
ECO-ART CAMP

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! Create eco-friendly artworks using recycled materials and explore themes of environmental sustainability. Campers will explore themes of environmental sustainability while transforming everyday items into imaginative masterpieces. From sculptures made of recycled plastics to mixed media collages using repurposed paper, this camp offers a unique opportunity to merge creativity with eco-consciousness. Join the Sawdust Squad for an unforgettable woodworking adventure this summer! Students will explore woodworking skills with hand tools, mastering the art of carpentry from an artist woodturner! Through engaging workshops and hands-on projects, participants will learn essential techniques such as sawing, drilling, and sanding, while cultivating a deep appreciation for the beauty of woodwork. With each hammer stroke, young builders will craft their own unique creations, from sturdy birdhouses to intricate wooden sculptures, fostering both creativity and practical skill. Join our Sawdust Squad and embark on a journey where imagination meets craftsmanship, and every piece tells a story of craftsmanship and pride!

KINDERCAMP

This fun camp is designed for our younger artists, who are interested in exploring the world of multi-media art. Campers will learn about exciting art processes such as painting, drawing, collage, printing, fiber arts, clay sculpting and paper mache. By the end of the week, students will have created 5-7 unique and expressive works of art!

MINDFUL EXPRESSIONS ART CAMP

As your teens gear up to return to school, this camp offers opportunities to practice mindfulness and grounding techniques through a variety of creative outlets. From journaling and movement exercises to drawing, painting, clay collage, and more, participants will engage in activities designed to nurture their personal language of artistic expression. Led by GAC teaching artist, this camp offers a supportive environment where teens can cultivate mindfulness, build resilience, and discover new ways to navigate the challenges of adolescence with creativity and grace.
CAMP POLICIES
Students must bring a lunch from home each day for full day camps.
Students may bring a snack and drink from home for all camps. There is a water dispenser to refill drinks throughout the day.
Late enrollment may be accepted, however some materials may not be ready at first class.
Registration fees are nonrefundable.
In the rare event of cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances, a reasonable effort will be made to schedule a make-up class session on an alternate date, or the class fee (less any classes already held) will be credited to the customer’s account.
Group communications/announcements are conducted by email to the address entered at registration. Individual communications may be handled by phone/text.
Alert Director of Education for any allergies or concerns prior to the first day of camp
If a student is outside the recommended ago for a camp, contact the education director to discuss further.
If a student is more than 5 minutes late for dismissal pick up you may be invoiced an additional $1 per minute late after the 5 minute grace period. You will receive a warning notice prior to receiving late pick up invoices.
