Sew & Go: Back to School Basics
For Teens & Adults
August 9 from 12:00-4:00 PM
Create custom shorts, pants, or overalls in this fun and functional back-to-school sewing workshop. Whether you’re a teen ready to design your own look or a grown-up making something special for a child, this class will guide you through the basics of garment construction. Bring a pair of shorts or pants that currently fit the wearer well, along with your chosen fabric. GAC will provide some sewing machines, tools, and a variety of buttons, elastic, and small fabrics for appliqués and embellishments. Beginner friendly, just bring your creativity and get ready to stitch something original!
Many materials will be provided for this class. Because of the unique style of each participant, some projects will require students to bring their own fabrics.
