If you have been waiting to take a class with local artist and owner of Hurricane Headdress, Megan Maberry, we are thrilled to offer her Community Workshop - Island Icons at GAC.

Using paper techniques, Megan inspires and guides you through designing and creating a headpiece original to your imagination, centered on self-identity. You will also have the option to be photographed as part of the Island Icon series.

If you have been needing to shake up your creativity, this is exactly the class you haven’t taken that could pull out exactly what you’ve been needing.

  • ENROLLMENT DEADLINE: May 10, 2026 | Late enrollment may be accepted, however some materials may not be ready at first class.

  • Group communications/announcements are conducted by email to the address entered at registration. Individual communications may be handled by phone/text.

  • For liability reasons, please do not register a student who is a minor unless you are their parent or legal guardian.
