HANDMADE ORNAMENTS - With a variety of ornament options everyone will be able to participate in this unique creative handmade activity. Join GAC teaching artists in making personalized ornaments special for your holiday celebration.
POLICIES
Please pre-register. Supplies are ordered based on enrollment and can take up to 7 business days to arrive.
NO REFUNDS on registration
In the rare event of cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances, a reasonable effort will be made to schedule a make-up class session on an alternate date, or your fee can be applied to a different class.
Group communications is handled via email. Please check your inbox for announcements before class.
For liability reasons, please do not register a student who is a minor unless you are their parent or legal guardian.

DISCOUNTS
GAC Members enjoy 20% off of tuition. You must sign in with the email associated with your membership account to receive the discount. Full-time students, teachers/professors, and parents who homeschool can join at the Student/Educator level for just $30/year.
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR YOUTH AND TEENS
Teachers, counsellors, etc. may nominate a student with whom they are professionally acquainted for a scholarship if they can attest to the the student’s interest in the subject and financial need. The student’s parent/legal guardian will be notified and given further instructions. You may not nominate your own child, dependent, or other close relation.
MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
Megan Hjorth graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with her Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and concentrations in early childhood-middle school education, all levels special education, and all levels English as a second language. She has worked as an educator for nearly 2 decades supporting students, teachers and caregivers alike. Now she serves as the director of education at the Galveston Arts Center where she bridges her love of art and her love of education.
