GAC Kids Summer Camps are led by local GAC Teaching Artists
As a GAC Kids Summer Camper, your child will get the unique opportunity to work with a variety of talented local teaching artists. Our GAC Kids Summer Camp teaching artists will take the natural skills and interest that your child already has and will build on them by introducing new skills and techniques to their creative toolbox.
RECOMMENDED AGES: 5 - 13
Each week GAC Kids have the opportunity to explore new creative themes to introduce your child to new art forms, mediums, techniques, and skills.
NEW THIS SUMMER
In partnership with the Galveston Historic Foundation, our GAC Kids Summer Camps include weekly harbor tour boat rides and walking museum tours for our campers.
Captain Brian will guide us through Galveston Harbor by boat ride while the GAC Kids Summer Camp Teaching Artist leads your child through engaging creative activities inspired by the sights and stories of the waterfront. GAC Kids will explore Galveston’s rich maritime history and have the opportunity to encounter dolphins and other marine life along the way.
