Painting Camp with Samantha Wiley Students will experience all different kinds of painting, from watercolor to acrylic and mixed media, from representational to abstract and decorative, painting on traditional and unconventional surfaces with a variety of tools, designing both from imagination and observation. Advanced students will learn to refine their planning and conceptual skills and develop new techniques with water-based oils, watercolor pencils, and more. For ages 8-14 Make soft, colorful sculptures out of hand-dyed raw wool with GISD certified art teacher teacher Brook Olm.  Needle felting (sometimes called dry felting) is nothing like the machine-made sheets of felt you can buy at the craft store; it is a true handmade fiber art.  Students will mold real raw wool to create sweet, whimsical, fuzzy sculptures. The Art of Caregiving: Student Project Presentations and Reception
