Polymer Clay Ornaments!

Learn the essential polymer clay technique of caning, adapted from the age-old glassblowing process of millefiori. Make a “chrysanthemum” cane in the colors of your choice to apply to a glass holiday ornament which we will bake during the workshop. The result is a stunning, translucent decoration for your tree!

For adults and teens ages 14 and up.

New to working with polymer clay? Beginners are welcome!

All materials are provided.  If you have them, feel free to bring your pasta machine, work surface and blade.  If not, we will provide these tools for you to use during class.

About the Instructor

Paula Kennedy graduated from Rice University with a double major in mathematics and art.  She has been crafting with polymer clay for over 10 years and currently serves on teh board of directors of the Houston Polymer Clay Guild.  In addition to creating jewelry and other objects with polymer clay, she enjoys beading, crocheting, tatting, and Kumihimo braiding.
