Artist Apprenticeship Program
This annual program provides an opportunity for local high school students to work with professional artists to create a large work of public art. Artists mentor students in planning and specific techniques, and students participate in production and promotion and opening events.

Student Art Exhibitions
GAC hosts Student Art Exhibitions throughout the year in the Studio Classroom. Artwork by students of all ages in various education programs at GAC and in the community is on display during ArtWalk, giving students the experience of seeing their work exhibited and the opportunity to introduce their families and friends to their art instructors.

Open Studio Nights
Select weeknights from 5:30-7:30 PM, GAC hosts a casual open-studio session in our spacious Studio Classroom. Bring a project to work on or use some of the basic art materials provided for a self-guided activity. Enjoy the company and inspiration of fellow artists, music and refreshments as you unwind from your day.
These one-day workshops are offered on select Saturdays or Sundays and include a tour of one of the current exhibitions. The workshop is taught by the exhibiting artist, or by a another professional working in a related theme. Time, duration and fees vary by exhibit, and RSVP is required.
