Join us for a fun and festive art workshop where we breathe new life into Mardi Gras beads! Instead of letting them pile up or go to waste, learn how to transform these colorful strands into stunning art pieces and sculptures. Whether you want to create vibrant mosaics, dynamic 3D sculptures, or unique mixed-media designs, this hands-on class will guide you through a variety of techniques to turn beads into bold, eye-catching masterpieces. Come with ideas, and beads!

CLASS FORMAT

This event is conducted in Galveston Arts Center’s studio classroom located on the second floor of GAC. The Umbrella Decorating Party is a self guided event.

POLICIES

• No refunds on registration fees for any reason.

• In the rare event of cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances, we will make every effort to schedule a make-up session on an alternate date.

• Group communications are conducted through email. Please check your inbox for announcements.

DISCOUNTS
GAC Members enjoy 20% off of tuition for most programs. You must sign in with the email associated with your membership account to receive the discount. Full-time students, teachers/professors, and parents who homeschool can join at the Student/Educator level for just $30/year.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Teachers, counsellors, etc. may nominate a student with whom they are professionally acquainted for a scholarship if they can attest to the the student’s interest in the subject and financial need. The student’s parent/legal guardian will be notified and given further instructions. You may not nominate your own child, dependent, or other close relation.
